Continue through the scenic Ounila Valley before arriving at the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore the labyrinth of alleys and ancient kasbahs before heading to Ouarzazate, where we stay overnight in a charming riad.
After breakfast, we visit the Kasbahs of Skoura and drive through the Valley of Roses, famous for its fragrant blooms. Continue to Dades Gorges, where the rock formations resemble monkey fingers. Enjoy a guided walk through the valley before dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional guest house.
Travel through Jebel Saghro, passing by the Berber village of N’Kob. Descend into the lush Draa Valley, stopping in Tamgroute to visit the Koranic library and pottery workshops. Continue to M’hamid, where we experience the gateway to the desert. Arrive at the bivouac camp, enjoy dinner by the fire, and sleep under the starlit sky.
Explore the Ksar of old M’hamid before heading off-road into the desert. Cross a variety of desert landscapes, stopping for a picnic in the shade of palm trees or tamarisks. Visit the Sacred Oasis, an isolated natural water source in the desert. Arrive at Erg Chegaga, Morocco’s largest dune field. Enjoy a camel ride, sandboarding, and a spectacular sunset over the dunes. Dinner and overnight in a luxury bivouac with Berber music.
After breakfast, drive through the dried Lake Iriki, a vast desert plain. Travel off-road through the rocky hamada until reaching Foum Zguid, where we rejoin the paved road. Stop in Taznakht, renowned for Berber carpets. Cross the High Atlas Mountains again, arriving in Marrakech by early evening.
