Begin your luxurious adventure with a pick-up from your hotel in Marrakech at 8:00 AM. Embark on a scenic journey in a comfortable 4x4, passing through the stunning Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters. We will travel through traditional Berber villages nestled in the Atlas Mountains, offering a glimpse of local life. Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou – an ancient fortified village that has featured in several famous films. Wander through the narrow, sloping streets, and marvel at the stunning architecture. Afterward, enjoy a delightful lunch in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. The day ends with a relaxing drive to Skoura, where we will spend the night at a beautiful riad in the palm grove – a true oasis of peace.
After breakfast, depart for the Dades Gorges, where you can enjoy a serene walk in the picturesque canyon. Continuing our journey, we’ll head to Erfoud, renowned for its fossilized marbles. Passing through Rissani, the ancient capital of the Tafilalet region, we make our way to the desert town of Merzouga. Once we reach the base of the mesmerizing Erg Chebbi dunes, you will take a camel ride to our luxurious desert bivouac, nestled in the heart of the dunes. After a stunning sunset, relax with mint tea, enjoy a delicious dinner, and unwind with traditional entertainment. Spend the night in a comfortable tent, complete with a private bathroom for your ultimate comfort.
Rise early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes, then journey toward Tazzarine, passing through desert landscapes and scenic oases. We will visit ancient kasbahs and continue through the Draa Valley, known for its lush oasis and the villages built from ochre earth. Stopping for lunch in the quaint Tamnougalt village – a former Jewish settlement, we will then drive toward Ouarzazate, the famous "Hollywood of Morocco." The drive will include an hour through rocky and barren mountain roads, offering dramatic landscapes. After a peaceful day of exploration, spend the night in a charming riad in Ouarzazate, where dinner and breakfast are included.
After a delicious breakfast overlooking the breathtaking oasis, take a leisurely walk through the lush gardens surrounded by rugged mountains. Experience the peacefulness of the Fint Oasis, a hidden gem. Then, we will continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, where you’ll enjoy a delightful lunch in the city center. In the afternoon, on the way back to Marrakech, stop at the Kasbah Tifoultout, a former residence of the legendary Pasha Glaoui. Though not open to visitors, the magnificent surroundings offer the perfect photo opportunity. We will then take the main road back to Marrakech, arriving at your hotel by the end of the afternoon.
