Driving Time: Approx. 6 hours Your journey begins at 8:00 AM, heading through the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass (2,205m) with spectacular mountain views. Stop at the legendary Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient UNESCO-listed kasbah, before continuing to Ouarzazate for lunch. In the afternoon, travel through Agdz and enjoy a panoramic view of the lush Draa Valley, dotted with palm groves and Berber villages. Pass through Zagora and stop at Tamgroute, where you’ll explore an underground kasbah and watch artisans create traditional green pottery. Arrive at M’hamid, the gateway to the Sahara, where your desert bivouac awaits. Enjoy a traditional dinner, campfire music, and a magical night under the stars.
Driving Time: Approx. 3 hours (off-road adventure!) Wake up to the tranquil desert sunrise, then explore the Ksar M’hamid, an ancient Berber village hidden within the palm groves. After breakfast, set off in a 4×4 through sandy tracks towards the Sacred Oasis, a peaceful desert haven where you’ll enjoy Moroccan mint tea. Then, continue to the majestic Chegaga dunes, the largest in Morocco, reaching up to 300 meters high. At the desert camp, enjoy a traditional lunch, then embark on an exciting camel ride through the dunes. Climb to the highest peak to witness the breathtaking sunset over the endless Sahara. After dinner, enjoy live Berber music and storytelling under a sky filled with millions of stars.
Driving Time: Approx. 7-8 hours Rise early to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast before setting off on an epic off-road journey. Cross the vast Lake Iriki, a dry salt lake that transforms into a shimmering mirage. Continue through the wild, untouched desert landscape to Foum Zguid, the first town after the Sahara. Travel through Taznakht, a town famous for its handwoven Berber carpets, where you can visit a traditional carpet cooperative. Finally, return to Marrakech, stopping along the way for scenic photos before arriving by early evening.
